Accounting & Finance Staff

Responsibilities:
To ensure that all the transactions are properly entered validated, processed and presented in the periodic financial statements in compliance to the applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Maintain, process, and analyze all company payable related to material purchase and asset procurement.

Handling all tax compliance, including annual income tax return, periodic income tax return, and periodic value added tax return

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree or Master's

Degree / Post Graduate Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management, Economics, Sales & Marketing, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Commerce or equivalent.

Required language(s): Bahasa Indonesia, English

Qualifications include:

Oversee the progress of review of all field related program documents
Review interim and final financial reports for reasonableness, allowability and allocability,
Review all contractual documents for completeness and accuracy,
Review procurement and other cash activity documentation and processes for reasonableness, allowability, and transparency,
Review partner budget proposals for accuracy, completeness and reasonableness,
Review prices included in budgets as compared to market surveys, Review budgeted expenses against Mercy Corps scales; i.e. salaries

The Accountant will manage all financial transactions in the Medan regional office. An international Oil and Gas Company involved in a major Offshore Development project and is in the process of engineering, fabricating a number of Offshore Platforms.
The Offshore Commissioning Supervisor is responsible of the full scope between hook up and offshore commissioning activities. A total of 4 to 6 offshore platforms will be fabricated and commissioned in the period 2006 and 2009.
 
Job description
As part of the Project Completions / Commissioning Team the Commissioning Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the commissioning side offshore phase.
He will be responsible for supervising and managing a group of Commissioning Engineers and Technicians
 
Requirements
The preferred candidate should have a strong commissioning experience specifically for offshore platforms.
Minimum 10 years in offshore Oil & Gas facility projects
Good leadership skills, handling a team of Engineers and Technicians
Working Experience in China or North East Asia is an advantage.
